Another Obama Tie to Marxism, Genocide... Terrorism

How many "associations" must a man have to acts of atrocity before He is called on them? Here is yet another instance of Comrade Senator Obama having political violence firmly affixed to his name.

About 50 parishioners were locked into the Assemblies of God church before it was set ablaze. They were mostly women and children. Those who tried to flee were hacked to death by machete-wielding members of a mob numbering 2,000.

The 2008 New Year Day atrocity in the Kenyan village Eldoret, about 185 miles northwest of Nairobi, had all the markings of the Rwanda genocide of a decade earlier.

By mid-February 2008, more than 1,500 Kenyans were killed. Many were slain by machete-armed attackers. More than 500,000 were displaced by the religious strife. Villages lay in ruin. Many of the atrocities were perpetrated by Muslims against Christians.

The violence was led by supporters of Raila Odinga, the opposition leader who lost the Dec. 27, 2007, presidential election by more than 230,000 votes. Odinga supporters began the genocide hours after the final election results were announced Dec. 30. Mr. Odinga was a member of Parliament representing an area in western Kenya, heavily populated by the Luo tribe, and the birthplace of Barack Obama's father.

All too often we have heard of atrocities such as this in Africa. This time, Obama is linked squarely with the horrors. Obama campaigned for this man, his cousin, in Kenya.

That Obama supported Odinga is not deniable:

Initially, Mr. Odinga was not the favored opposition candidate to stand in the 2007 election against President Mwai Kibaki, who was seeking his second term. However, he received a tremendous boost when Sen. Barack Obama arrived in Kenya in August 2006 to campaign on his behalf. Mr. Obama denies that supporting Mr. Odinga was the intention of his trip, but his actions and local media reports tell otherwise.

Mr. Odinga and Mr. Obama were nearly inseparable throughout Mr. Obama's six-day stay. The two traveled together throughout Kenya and Mr. Obama spoke on behalf of Mr. Odinga at numerous rallies. In contrast, Mr. Obama had only criticism for Kibaki. He lashed out against the Kenyan government shortly after meeting with the president on Aug. 25. "The [Kenyan] people have to suffer over corruption perpetrated by government officials," Mr. Obama announced.

"Kenyans are now yearning for change," he declared. The intent of Mr. Obama's remarks and actions was transparent to Kenyans - he was firmly behind Mr. Odinga.

Obama supported a MARXIST in supporting his cousin:

This was not Mr. Odinga's first brush with notoriety. Like his father, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the main opposition leader in the 1960s and 1970s, Raila Odinga is a Marxist He graduated from East Germany's Magdeburg University in 1970 on a scholarship provided by the East German government. He named his oldest son after Fidel Castro.

Raila Odinga was implicated in the bloody coup attempt in 1982 against then-President Daniel Arap Moi, a close ally of the United States. Kenya has been one of the most stable democracies in Africa since the 1960s. The ethnic cleansing earlier this year was the worst violence in Kenya since that 1982 coup attempt.

Obama supported Odinga even when Odinga had declared support for racism, misogyny, and religious oppression when he campaigned for Shariah law:

The details of the MOU were shocking. In return for Muslim backing, Mr. Odinga promised to impose a number of measures favored by Muslims if he were elected president. Among these were recognition of "Islam as the only true religion," Islamic leaders would have an "oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions [emphasis in original]," installation of Shariah courts in every jurisdiction, a ban on Christian preaching, replacement of the police commissioner who "allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists," adoption of a women's dress code, and bans on alcohol and pork.

What does Comrade Obama care about? He does not seem to care about the genocide of his cousin. He does not seem to care about the terrorism of his friend and fellow (twice) board member Bill Ayers. He does not seem to care about the anti-Americanism of his pastor (until it costs him in the polls, that is)... Barack Obama has the taint of Genocide and Terrorism upon him with these and other "associations."

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn were just associations.

Tony Rezko was just an association.

Khalid al-Mansoor was just an association.

Jeremiah Wright was just a twenty year association.

Michael Pfleger was just an association.

ACORN is just an association.

Jim Johnson and Franklin Raines are just associations.

Rashid Khalidi was just an associate.

Raila Odinga, just a cousin, just an associate, just a leader of a genocidal political party a world away. Just someone Barack Obama thought should be elected to the highest office in the land of his father...

When will these associations, this avalanche of bad judgments, come home to roost?

Hyman’s succinct telling demonstrates what is at best shockingly poor judgment on Obama’s part, and at worst is his possible collaboration with Islamist terrorists and a bloodthirsty grab for power.

Is the change we can expect from an Obama administration or what we can expect if he loses. Like I asked yesterday are all of Obama's acquaintances communists, corrupt or just plain sleaze bags? I would say this is even more damning for Obama than the Ayers issue since he campaigned for Odinga as a US Senator. Would this be the kind of foreign leaders he would support should he become President? Is this why he said he would meet with Achmadinejad, Chavez, Castro? Does he actually agree with the way they rule?

WorldNetDaily reports that they have documents showing that the Obama campaign at least knew of the political strategy that precipitated the genocidal riots, and may have had a hand in forming that strategy.

During Corsi's trip to Kenya, WND also confirmed the role of the anonymous party source in implementing an Odinga campaign strategy which the source claimed was shared with Obama's Senate office. The strategy is described in a document titled "Executive Brief on the Positioning and Marketing of the Orange Democratic Movement & 'The People's President.'"

The document at one point suggests: "It is possible to trigger a class war by painting the Kibaki Government as an insensitive, uncaring group of Muthaiga Golf clubbers. Available research also suggests that this strategy could also resonate with poor kikuyu youth who feel economically marginalized by their own government. As part of this strategy the party should seek to elevate the emotions within all youth constituents who may it successful, be willing to vote for us in the protest. Visible signs of class disparity will provide important fodder for this theme."

WND previously reported Obama was in telephone communications with Odinga on nearly a daily basis during the Democratic primary in New Hampshire in January.

Odinga called for protests over alleged voter fraud after losing the December 2007 general election. The resulting protest violence left an estimated 1,000 members of the dominant Kikuyu tribe in Kenya dead and an estimated 500,000 displaced from their homes.

The Odinga association may be even more devastating than the Bill Ayers link, because Obama cannot make the "I was only eight years old when this bad stuff happened" excuse. Also, questions are being raised if Obama may have violated the Logan Act. Additionally, Odinga's thugs were involved in the slaughter of thousands of Kenyans.
