GM Will Still Be Lobbying--Are We Maroons or what?

This really may take the cake as the "most" stupidest thing thing this week (well, there is this about those nuclear site locations being posted to the internet here and here. Maybe this is what Obama meant about open government or whatever it was he said--except this was stupidity). Anyway the news is GM will be spending our money to to pay for their multi-million dollar lobbying operation in Washington, D. C. to lobby the government for stuff. Huh?

Let me repeat that, GM or The People's Motors (as it will soon be known) is going to be spending a good bit of their government bailouts(taxpayer funded)to pay for lobbyist to lobby the government for perks. Lobbyist giving gifts and dinners to the guys and gals that gave them a hand-out, and that ain't the taxpayers, folks.

And meanwhile, The People's Motors is trying to force closure of around 1100 dealerships. Read this Huffington Post entry. Here's another story in Kansas. And I'm sitting here looking at Ray Lahood on T.V. and I think he might be an idiot but that might be just me?
